How people choose their books! #choosing a book. #bestbooks#2019

Books are definitely the most useful gadget available to humans which carry, every information from your nursery ABC to checklist book of next mars mission.

.

.

Books can be anything. They can be source of paper to start a fire or to hold your snacks or to make cigar or to make a paper aeroplane to fly. ( Sorry for this.)

.

.They act as a continuous stream of useful and transferrable consciousness of entire humankind over million of years, which is worthy of transmission to enlighten and entertain.

.

.

Let’s see how sapiens, who when get their Tummies full and bladders empty, try to choose a book from so many possible victims, waiting to be held in their palms.

.

1. Heard somewhere-

This is possibly the most common source. Uncle Harry uttered it during night party before passing out or cousin pointed towards it after his girlfriend dumped him.

Or aunty mentioned it while she had her first hot flush or dad handed over it because, his dad had handed it to your dad.

Or it was your mom who spotted you spending too much time in front of mirror.

Or it was your sister who wanted to get rid of one old book and handed it over to you.

Most of the books get their readers this way.

.

2. Bloggers

Bloggers ae the writers whose most of the writings are either read by themselves or by nobody. They fill numbers of reviews and make a stack that could circle earth 5 times. And yes few of the reader may accidentally choose their next read after reading a blogger.

Please note– Time you spend reading book reviews may actually be invested in reading nice books. Waste your time carefully.

.

3. Celebrities-.

Oprah Winfrey opens a book club and books start selling like liquor on a dry day. People jump head first on to these books.

Same happens when Bill gates reveals his list. And books go flying through roof when some beauty snaps a selfie with it, with microscopic chances of having opened the book.

.

4. Covers

Like we absolutely can never judge a person fully by his face, it is common near-fatal mistake by a reader to judge book by its covers.

A lot of books have hit bestseller roofs only due to cover with guilty purchaser unable to gather courage, to criticize his faulty choice.

.

Covers do contribute in first impression and getting a book actually into your sensory cortex for processing and possible purchase.

.

.

5. Instagram

Nice book, lots of props, jugs of coffee, filters, theoretical but sticky captions and lots of misplaced smilies can get a book through to core of most receptive area of readers psyche.

If you may thrust your face or legs or even hands into photo likes may shoot up.

..

6. Gift

Most teens lost into this universe and floating rudderless into society actually start a love story with books, when someone misjudges their IQ and gifts them a book.

Once their have it, they want more and more and more. Then they fall prey to 5 points mentioned above and fall into a vicious cycle of reading and repeating.

.

7. Free review copies

Few exceptional people who want everything free; free speech, freeways, free lunch, freebies, freeman Morgan, free books…get their copies as reviewer.

They set their camp and keep scanning #netgalley or #edelweissplus to scoop real alive and readable ebooks.

..

.

.

.

8. Destiny

Few people never mean to read a book or even open it, but sometimes a funky title comes out on screen while surfing internet.

When they read things like how to unfk life, millionaire in 10 days, 4 hour full pay, superpower memory, read or die; they are forced to undergo this pursuit of reading that book.

.

.

What are your opinions dear friends.
